Ralph Wilson Stadium

Orchard Park, New York

Sienna was honored to provide Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing services to the Buffalo Bills franchise as a subconsultant to LP Ciminelli. Ralph Wilson Stadium, the home of the Buffalo Bills, has recently undergone a series of upgrades throughout the stadium and grounds with a construction budget of $130 Million. Sienna's scope of work included providing IAQ services for the new Operations building, Commissary building and the Team Store, completed in January and June of 2014, respectively. The Operations building includes garage space, work shop space, as well as office space. The new Commissary building has been erected between the east end of the stadium and the field-house and will house all of the stadium food service plus serve as the employee check-in entrance. Including upgrades to the existing Bills Store, the new team store will provide fans with an additional 6,000 square feet of space for team merchandise.

The testing protocol was designed and conducted in accordance with the U.S. Green Building Council's standard LEED 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovations specifically Credit 3.2. Under Credit 3.2, buildings must be tested for and meet the criteria of receiving passing results for:  formaldehyde, phenylcyclohexene, respirable dust, total volatile organic compounds, and carbon monoxide.

Upon completion of the building and ranking by the US Green Building Council, the facility attained LEED Platinum status for three projects.
