Erie Country Medical Center

 Buffalo, New York

Erie County Medical Center recently underwent extensive renovations to transform its Center for Excellence for Transplantation and Kideney Care.

The 10th floor renovations provide a new Transplant Clinic, a vascular access center with two procedure rooms, an ultrasound room, recovery areas, a dedicated Transplant inpatient nursing unit and a 6-bay inpatient dialysis center.

The Outpatient Hemodialysis building is located on the ECMC campus and included 36 hemodialysis stations, outpatient education and community outreach offices, home dialysis training, and all associated clinical support spaces. Existing campus Building 4 (axial corridor) and Building 5E (carpenter shop) were demolished to make room for this new building.

Sienna worked with Kideney Architects on this $5.2 Million project to provide the following scope of work:

  •  Asbestos inspection
  • Abatement design
  • Project Monitoring and Air Sampling
  • PCM Laboratory Analysis
