Erie County Medical Center - Center for Excellence & Behavioral Health Center

Erie County Medical Center, located in Buffalo, New York, underwent extensive renovations to transform its Center for Excellence for Transplantation and Kidney Care, and it’s Behavioral Health Center. Other recent renovations have been conducted in the Connecting Corridor.

The 10th floor renovations provide a new Transplant Clinic, a vascular access center with two procedure rooms, an ultrasound room, recovery areas, a dedicated Transplant inpatient nursing unit and a 6-bay inpatient dialysis center.

The Outpatient Hemodialysis building is located on the ECMC campus and includes 36 hemodialysis stations, outpatient education and community outreach offices, home dialysis training, and all associated clinical support spaces. Existing campus Building 4 (axial corridor) and Building 5E (carpenter shop) were demolished to make room for this new building.
