SUNY Potsdam - SUCF - Renovate Student Union

SUNY Potsdam was founded in 1816. Barrington Student Union is one of the most used buildings on the SUNY Potsdam campus. It is the student living room, dining room and social space.

The project scope included replacement of the primary HVAC equipment servicing the building including a complete replacement of the air handling equipment in the mechanical penthouse. Renovation work included construction of two new rooftop penthouse areas and the complete renovation of the existing rooftop mechanical room. New ductwork was tied into existing ductwork on the second and first floors. New ceilings and upgrades to building finishes in the affected area and the main foyer/lobby area were included. A new roof was installed upon completion of the construction of the new penthouse.
