Albion Central School District

Albion Central School District became centralized in 1876. Albion is part of the Rochester Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is a trading and shipping village for a good farming region. The Erie Canal passes through this historic town and village.

Sienna performed asbestos inspections for the district for the purpose of deeming ancillary structures asbestos-free prior to the 2019 AHERA triennial inspections. In addition, as part of the 2015 Capital Project, Sienna performed asbestos, lead-based paint, and PCB inspections on multiple structures at the Albion CSD campus including storage sheds, concession stand, athletic field dugouts, and Elementary, Middle and High school buildings.

Albion CSD was proactive in complying with New York State Department of Health’s 2016 emergency regulation that required all NYS school districts to test their drinking water for lead. Sienna performed this service for the district at all potable water outlets within the school buildings.
