Niagara Gorge Corridor Project - NYPA

NYPA selected Sienna to provide Environmental, Health and Safety services during the Niagara Gorge Corridor Construction and Demolition project. The project took place within the boundaries of NYPA’s property, and on properties of the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, NYS, and others. The project included removing sections of the old Robert Moses Parkway, including demolition of an elevated section of the Parkway. Whirlpool Street reconstruction took place as well as extensive landscaping of the project area.

Sienna supported the Authority’s objectives by providing services for management and environmental oversight in line with the Authority’s EH&S guidelines and land use permits. Sienna provided field oversight staff with relevant expertise in a broad range of environmental and safety subject areas associated with the project.
