CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT and ON-SITE SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES

 
Perform inspection duties associated with on-site construction and/or safety monitoring of contractors' activities and project assignments. Conducts field surveying; inspects work for compliance with design documents and/or regulatory requirements; identifies potential safety, code, constructability, and operational issues; keeps records to reflect as built conditions; computes quantities; reviews and provides comments on design development of contract plans and specifications; assist with site safety plans, job safety planning, and JHAs/JSAs; and provides assistance to other departments and projects as directed. Must bring a positive attitude and enjoy construction oversight and/or safety and demonstrate these attributes daily.
 

DESIGNERS AND AUTOCAD TECHNICIANS - FULL-TIME & PART-TIME

 
We are seeking employees for both entry level and experienced Designers and AutoCAD Technicians to assist with a vast array of projects. Responsibilities include preparation of architectural documents including but not limited to the following; design development and construction documentations of projects. Additional duties may include field investigations and monitoring, project management tasks, and working with architects, engineers, construction managers, and sub-contractors. All positions require work to be performed in our Buffalo office.
 

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT

 
Perform environmental consulting services including conducting building investigations for hazardous materials and conducting compliance monitoring. Collect samples of suspect hazardous materials for laboratory analysis, assess the condition of materials, and record and report findings in a clear and concise written format. Prior environmental inspection or consulting experience required. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to work independently is a must. Candidate must have reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
 

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

 
Perform compliance monitoring duties on a hazardous materials project by overseeing the scope, timing, phasing, and remediation methods to be utilized on the project. Collect air samples, create written record for abatement projects, and determine project completeness. Asbestos, lead-based paint, construction, or hazardous materials experience a plus. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and to work independently is a must. Candidate must have reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours. Will train.
 
 

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

 
Perform the following daily functions within the PCM laboratory: sample log-in, sample preparation, analysis, quality control, compilation of laboratory reports and report compilation. Asbestos, geological, environmental or chemical laboratory experience a plus, previous microscopy experience required. Ability to work flexible hours a must.
