Buffalo Public Schools is currently in the midst of a $3 billion district-wide reconstruction project to transform a variety of pre-K through 12 schools into state-of-the-art 21st century learning centers. Encompassing a combined one million square feet, the scope of this decade-long project includes the comprehensive renovation of 60 facilities for the Buffalo Public Schools program. Sienna Environmental Technologies, LLC has been providing environmental services since Phase I as a prime contractor to LP Ciminelli and subcontractor to multiple architecture and engineering firms. Numerous awards have been conferred for work completed in the Buffalo Public Schools Renovation Program, including: the 2012 Buffalo Business First Brick by Brick Finalist for Best Educational Project for BPS 72: Lorraine Elementary School, 2009 AIA Buffalo/Western New York Design Award for BPS 32: Bennett Park Montessori, and the 2011 AIA Buffalo/Western New York Merit Award for BPS 205: Riverside Institute of Technology.
